The Honey Pot Nursery, Yeovil, Somerset, requested noise assessments to determine the daily noise exposure of its staff at this nursery. The nature of the building resulted in high reverberant levels of sound which became at times uncomfortable for staff and interrupted the sleep of its younger children during their mid morning nap. Soundguard Acoustics Ltd designed a suitable suspended ceiling design and sound separating doors between the areas to reduce the reverberation and noise levels.
